This week in English class I learned more about William Shakespeare and the great works that he created over the years. We acted out one of his plays in class so we students could get a better grasp of what one of Shakespeare’s plays would look like acting out. We also discussed our rhetorical analysis papers a little bit as well this week, we talked about why some of us got the grade we did and why points would have been knocked off.
We should study Shakespeare because his plays and the stories he told are great sources to use when studying literature. Shakespeare was possibly the greatest play writer of all time, so when reading his plays, our class can learn a lot from them. Also, we should study Shakespeare because his plays are all works of art and can help people in many ways.
This week I used a rhetoric method when I and my brother were debating if Fuzzy’s or Chiloso was better. My argument was that Chiloso was better in all aspects, especially food, but the one set back was that it is usually full of people. My brother said Fuzzy’s was better because the food was better in his opinion, which I don’t agree with. It turned into an argument and neither one of us won that fight over which place was better.
