This week in English class, we composed our thesis for our new argumentative paper assignment and turned it in. I chose to write about The Tempest for my paper, and my thesis was that Prospero was a bad guy and wasn’t good because of the things he had done to the people on the island. I also re-read some parts of the play to get a better look at what Prospero had done so I knew what to write about.
This week I got into an argument with one of my friends over Xbox about which game was better, Rainbow Six Siege or Overwatch. My argument was that Rainbow Six Siege was a better game and it required skill. My friend argued that OverWatch was better because it required way more skill want Rainbow Six Siege, which isn’t true. So it turned into each one of us calling each other trash at Xbox until someone finally stopped.
The current COVID-19 crisis in our world has been getting better from what it sounds like, it’s not as obnoxious as it once was in the beginning. Just like in the play when after the shipwreck, their lives weren’t as extreme as it was during the shipwreck. So basically, things aren’t good right now, but they’re better than it once was at the beginning.
