This week in English class I wrote my argumentative paper outline for the tempest and my argument on it. I studied a little more on Prospero and tried to figure out who he was and where he originally came from. I want to make sure that when I write the actual paper I know what I’m talking about so I don’t sound too uneducated like I probably normally would sound like.
This week I experienced a piece of rhetoric when I got into an argument with my Dad about our new WiFi setup in our house. I was telling him that there was a specific ethernet port up in my room so I could run a direct internet connection to my Xbox instead of wireless. He was saying that the port in my room was just for telephone but he was wrong because we tested it.
Currently, in our situation with the COVID-19 outbreak, it seems to be getting better, however, the school did get canceled, so that’s good for me at least. It relates to The Tempest because of how Trinculo and Stephano were drunk the whole time. Just like some adults probably are drunk because they’ve got nothing better to do with their time away from work. Both some adults and Stephano and Trinculo got drunk to pass time in my opinion.
