English 1302 Week 14

This week in English class we got our argumentative rough draft’s back graded with annotation. I took the annotation Mrs. Waits gave me and used it to make my original rough draft much better for the rough draft number two and turned it in. Also, I included way more quotes and outside sources when I was writing my secondary rough draft so my paper seems more reliable.

This week I experienced a piece of rhetoric when I and my friend over the Xbox were discussing which snack was better. He argued that just straight peanut butter out of the jar was better for when he plays Xbox. My argument was that a whole ton of peanut butter was good, but it needs milk for when I play Xbox. It turned into a very sad argument as both of our very out of shape bodies were arguing with what peanut butter needs to be with to taste even better.

Currently, with the Covid-19 outbreak, some places are starting to slowly open back up, but are only allowing about 25% capacity when opened. They are doing that to minimize any human interaction as you shop or eat. This relates to The Tempest when Prospero boated away to the island and although everything around him was going downhill, at least he got to raise his daughter. So even though everything still kinda sucks, we have a little hope to get by.
